Awaken Architecture LLC is an independent design studio focused on architecture, interior fit-out and landscape solutions for private clients and developers. Our work spans small single-family homes to mid-scale commercial projects, always with a focus on daylight, material honesty and durability. Founded by a team of designers and builders, we combine rigorous technical detailing with a human-centered approach to place-making. We are based in Minneapolis and regularly collaborate with engineers, landscape architects and artisans to deliver fully coordinated projects from schematic design through construction.

Design process — clear stages that keep projects on track
1 — Discovery & Feasibility
We meet the client, review the site, and establish budget and program. The outcome is a feasibility report with massing options and a realistic timeline.
2 — Design Development
We develop the selected concept into coordinated plans, sections and models. Structural, MEP coordination and preliminary cost inputs are integrated at this stage.
3 — Construction & Delivery
We prepare construction documents, support permitting and provide site visits during construction. We conclude with a post-occupancy review to capture lessons learned.
